A massive improvement on the first film, and it's almost like they knew where they went wrong and fixed it for the sequel. Characters are better (especially Tess & Nate), storyline is better and while it's still corny it's in the right taste this time. Unlike the first film there is heavy choreography in the sequel which is quite good. It's still aimed at a younger audience, but it's fair to say that the sequel should please more and reach a wider audience than the first Camp Rock film did.
Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam is a complete waste of time. I liked one song, the film didn't have a message, and it more or less negated most of what happened in the last film when it comes to its characters. It was better made, and more theatrical in nature, but I wasn't enjoying myself for a variety of reasons. Unless you wanted more Jonas Brothers, skip this one.
Similar to the first film in that its extremley corny and has everything that the three 'High School Musical' had, except they're singing and dancing at a camp instead of a school. The storyline is very predictable and, once again, the films real let-down because the songs aren't that bad. Nick and Kevin are featured more now, but Kevin's character 'Jason' is painful to watch because of his stupidity. Overall fans of the first, and squealing girls everywhere should have no problem enjoying this.
