So bad it's good. I laughed so hard and recommend it to all my friends. Don't take it seriously!

A interesting concept where gender issues are at the centre of an absurdist comedy, but its too broad without enough funny jokes to keep it moving. (Neither does it help that it squanders a potentially hilarious Apocalypse Now parody despite naming a character Kurtz). Also in tackling the issues it does, it shoots itself in the foot, both tackling it half-heartedly but also forcing a conservative ending on the film when a much subversive and funnier one could have been found.

There is one good joke in this movie, and it has to do with David Letterman. Also, some good feminist support, I guess.

Fairly funny Indiana Jones spoof. The PG-13 rating keeps this from being too sexy or bloody but Maher is good as the wisecracking hero and the ladies, in their loincloths and tooth necklaces, make this a fun throwback to grade-Z masterpieces like _Prehistoric Women_.

Pretty bizarre and wacky, but it's Bill Maher that makes this film worth it.
