Summary: The sinister Dr Watt has an evil scheme going. He's kidnapping beautiful young women and turning them into mannequins to sell to local stores. Fortunately for Dr Watt, Detective-Sergeant Bung is on the case, and he doesn't have a clue! In this send up of the Hammer Horror movies, there are send-ups of all the horror greats from Frankenstein to Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde. (imdb)

You don't really get ensemble casts like this any more. You get Ricky Gervais being smug or Russel Brand shagging about. In amongst all the puns and inuendo there's some genuine wit and obvious hard graft gone into the script.

The least carry-on of all the carry-on's. Dryly whitty and more puns than you can bear (almost). Fenella Fielding and Kenneth Williams are just brilliant. Watch out for pastiches on just about every horror film from Curse of the Mummy to Frankenstrein. There's even the Adam's family in there .. Funny and harmless

Puns, puns and more puns. More inspired than the mundane production values of the average Carry On, but for some reason I didn't really like this as much as some of the others. The script is markedly better than the majority of instalments though.
