Very interesting. This one falls more in line with Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room, in that it's an expose of assholes exploiting normal people, getting cocky about it, and subsequently destroying their lives through their avaricious ambition. And it all stemmed from Reagan-era Republican resurgence in response to the counterculture movement, a rallying cry that barreled through the country so far to the political right that it lost sight of all rational thought.
"It makes plain, from the outset, its position as an exposé-cum-condemnation of our political system as inherently flawed with regard to the relationship between lobbyists, politicians, and policy." - Nick Schager
I really liked this, and that says a lot, as I usually don't like documentaries (as they usually feel too much like propaganda). But this one lays out the facts, and then saves it all and scares the heck out of you in the last 3 minutes, and really ends with a punch.
very humorous, this is both a strength and a flaw: never delves seriously upon on political ethical implications. still one of the funniest endings ever in a documentary.
