Several of the main characters are poorly written and very annoying, and several of the actors (especially the two lead females) turn in some really shitty performances on top of that. The story is weak, the creature CGI is pretty bad, and the few good actors cannot save this waste of time. I usually don't trust the Blockbuster score because a lot of stupid people have a pack mentality and will vote up whatever they are told to, but I think the score on this was about right: 2 stars.
