It was a good, sweet story for teen age girls. Probably this is all I can say about it.

Even if at its core it's a simplistic and clichéd teen sports romcom with the usual triumph-over-adversity, personal growth, ugly duckling, fish-out-of-water themes, this movie is made by people with a sharp sense of humour and enough insider experience to satirise the posh ski crowd splendidly. Ski and snowboard aficionados will appreciate the attention to detail in the script, while good performances from most make it an engaging and fun ride. With its lowly pedigree, who would have thought?

So Chuck Bass plays a wealthy dude who is dating Brooke Davis yet he must come to terms with his feelings for a chalet girl. Ultimately their love beats all and chalet girl wins the big snowboard comp despite learning to board like 8 weeks prior. Honestly it's not that bad but it's not that good. Not unfunny nor funny. Has some charm and chalet girl herself is a good actress. Overall it's a bit of a benign nothing movie. Though it does randomly have Bill Nighy who is the coolest man ever.
