My favorite part of this whole movie was when Rajnikanth said lakalakalakalaka. It's a classic line and went perfectly with the movie. And don't get me started with the CGI snake. I mean, how amazing was that. P.Vasu really knew what he was doing.

'Chandramukhi', remake of the Malayalam classic 'Manichitrathazhu', is a pathetic joke, with P. Vasu twisting the story in every which way possible to squeeze in vacuous heroic display opportunities for Rajnikanth. Jyothika, meanwhile, overacts & bumbles her way through what is a caricature of Shobana's amazing portrayal in the original. And what the hell was with the "lakalakalaka" line & the CGI cartoon-like snake?!
