Much better than I was expecting from the summaries I'd read. Definitely tugs at the emotions in places, and Reynolds does a great job balancing all the turns.

Good comedy.

I dont expect much from this movie, then ended up being a good surprise, a decent comedy drama.

Sort of a dark comedy morphed into a darkish romantic dramathing. Reynolds is very good. T?hough I never like that woman, in anything. Good.

Good story about the strong bonds of family, when going through a crisis.

Surprisingly enjoyable. If it would've maintained the momentum from the first half the score would've been much higher. Disappointing that it turned into a by-the-numbers movie. Reynolds is getting better, but I'm sure he will be back to terrible rom/coms in a matter of time.

Could have gotten a better score from me if the movie kept going at the opening pace. It slowed down from an exciting romantic thriller to a slow, not so romantic drama; before tapering off into nothing, say for the conclusion.

Not bad. I like Ryan Reynolds and the rest of the cast but the story is a bit unbelievable (in Hollywood, say it ain't so!) to the point where you could see what was happening from a hundred miles away. An ok Sunday afternoon napping on the sofa movie.

Too bad it turns into romantic drama after few hilarious twists at the beginning. Ryan Reynolds and the whole movie are very decent.

Hip, heartfelt and plain lazy

Really not half bad, Reynolds isn't a big favorite of mine but he plugs away and isn't a big distraction.

This film was a pleasant surprise considering I had never heard of it. Reynolds flexes his acting muscle, and while the script is a bit unbelievable, the moral behind it allows you to forgive that.

Definitely, Maybe and this are sort of similar, at least on the outside, and Definitely, Maybe is a better movie by far but I also enjoyed this for reasons I enjoyed that. Ryan Reynolds is great and I like him a lot generally, there are some kind of funny parts but the movie excels when it's being dramatic and by the end I did care about these people and their complex problems.

Good cinematography, solid pacing, but a little bit all over the place with it's storytelling. The comedy is kind of hit-and-miss as well. Not terrible, but not memorable.

Chaos Theory, starring Ryan Reynolds, confirms the underground vision of screenwriter Daniel Taplitz, who has re-imagined the screwball comedy in original terms.

Started out with such a great potential, then took the highroad to Hollywood. Definitely not a bad movie. Reynolds was really really good but the rest of the cast fell apart in a few scenes but where ok most the time. Oh that first half, such a Coens script that was.. Made me a little sad that it went a bit south after a while.

I enjoyed this. wasn't the same crap that's out in the theaters
