Leto was pretty decent though no real payoff considering the pace.

Slow moving, but not really a terrible movie overall. I'd heard that Jared Leto was excellent prior to seeing this (he makes the movie worth viewing by himself), but that Lindsay Lohan counteracts any positives he adds to the film. I really don't buy it. She's forgettable, but not really in the film long enough to just destroy it completely (seriously, not that bad). Worth a viewing for the performance, but it may leave you wanting in the end.

Though it may be hard for many to watch it is a very reall take on the man who did a horrible act and Jared Leto was amazing in this!

Jared Leto gives a good performance but I did not like the way the story was told in this movie. Watch "The Killing of John Lennon" for a better movie on the same subject.

Didn't why I watched this sorry excuse for a film. Maybem because I'm a The Beatles fan and was always interested in the John Lennon's murder. But with Jared Leto and Lindsay Lohan, I should've known better..

Scope is too limited to offer any real insight. What creates a Mark Chapman? Why John Lennon? What can be done to prevent something like this from happening in the future? Without so much as an attempt to answer questions like these, the film transforms its audience into mere gawkers at a freak show. Skillfully shot and edited with a dedicated performance by Leto (who gained a lot of weight for the part), but conceptually wrong-headed and ultimately forgettable.

Biopic of John Lennon's killer that tries, and fails, to find a reason for his crime. Here's the reason: he was delusional and psychotic. Taxi Driver this is not.

Jared Leto is unbelievable but the pacing of the movie is so boring, you just end up sad..

This is one of the worst movies I've ever seen EVER.

An OK adaption of John Lennon's murder with Jared Leto doing a fantastic job as his killer Mark Chapman. Bit boring in parts and very slow at times, but it's one of those movies that won't have a lot of acton until that pivotal moment at the end, in which it did. Lindsay Lohan also did a good job as a fellow John Lennon fan. Worth a look if you're a fan of Lennon or interested in his murder.
