Summary: Businessman Philipose Manavalan aka Thampi (Mammootty) has a constant headache in the form of his wayward younger brother Raju Manavalan (Rahman) who takes to drugs & squanders the family wealth, but Thampi is shattered when Raju dies in an accident. Thampi comes to terms with Raju's death & an year later, marries Sisily (Shobana) & settles down, but soon the peace is shattered when a lookalike of Raju turns up & claims to be him, throwing Thampi & everyone else around him into confusion.
