Seemed to be going somewhere predictable, but (spoiler alert?) didn't end up resolving its mystery, at least not very explicitly. We clearly know that some of the creepier things we see are just figments of the protagonist's hallucinations, but we aren't clear enough on what is real, and in that sense this reminded me of films like Adam Simon's Brain Dead, and Friedkin's Bug. Not unlike those two, Chasing Sleep also stars a lovable actor. But it really isn't as good as either of them.
