Semi-riff on THE GRADUATE moves in frustrating peaks and valleys; insufferable for long stretches, before a sharp insight or some nice performance work (especially from Allen and Robertson) pulls it back from the abyss. Strange shifts in tone (especially at the start of the third act), even going into some grim and dark places, feel unearned by the generally frothy stuff that comes before. It also never quite reconciles the unsettling nature of Robertson's predatory teenager. Still worthwhile.

A some what college based movie that wasn't made to be over the top with nudity and stupid jokes.

Cute. Dysfunctional, but cute.

Is it me or did Kyle Gallner look a little chubby in this movie?
