Interesting and moving documentary on teaching as the cultivation of the ability to negotiate relationships, live well together and navigate life's difficult course. Not above a bit of sentimental music to tug at the heartstrings, but the subject matter rises above such quibbles. A lesson to aspiring teachers that teaching to high expectations requires them to trust their students affectively as well as academically, and to possess the ability to delicately foster their psychosocial development.
