Not bad _Salem's Lot_-like video chiller from Fangoria Films. There are some unusually clever touches (like the undead scarfing up bloody leeches), and Black is very good but wasted in a small role as a sexy vampire mom.

Low-rent variation on _Salem's Lot_. Peculiar deviation from vampire mythology -- they sleep underwater with their lungs floating on the surface -- is the only novelty, unless you count the highly variable acting.

Thoroughly lame movie. It's not even very attractively photographed, and usually even tiny films these days will have good cinematography. Am I the only one who feels sorry for Karen Black for appearing in one piece of crap like this after another?
