Summary: With the aim of pleasing his dearest friend, a heart patient, & giving him a memorable vacation before he returned back to America, Kaimal (Nedumudi) recruits a thief Vishnu (Mohanlal), to act as the husband of his dearest friend's daughter Kalyani (Renjini), after Kalyani was snubbed by her lover Ravi (Shanawas) on the day of their wedding. After some initial spats, Vishnu & Kalyani gets attracted to each other, but soon Kalyani learns that Vishnu has a tragic past & an even more tragic future. (by iceblox)
