I never would have thought Colm Meaney could be so menacing. Starts strong, kind of whimpers away once things get going.

Unlike with Keane, Kerrigan's subsequent attempt at capturing the day-to-day life of an outcast on the brink of a mental collapse, this film suffers from a predictable narrative arc and some awful characterizations, especially from nearly all of the supporting characters. Colm Meaney is bearable, but he helps only to distract from D'Onofrio's utter blandness.
