I found it pretty much just as entertaining as the original Clerks. Certainly the plot feels "tacked-on" but let's be honest, the first Clerks was never, ever about the plot. My only complaint were that some points felt like music videos and a bit long but the dance number was hilarious. Also I never thought I'd find inter-species erotica as hilarious as this movie makes it. Great stuff if you're a Kevin Smith fan! If you're not then this won't win you over.

Sure, it's funny. Sometimes. But Smith has reached the point that all he needs to do is say, "Balls" and somebody will call it brilliant. Rosario Dawson never did that much for me, and thinking that she'd go for Dante Hicks just feels insulting. The gross-out humor doesn't work so well here, and it misses an essential from the first Clerks: the oddball customers. No guy checking the eggs? I'm not interested!

This movie starts of with some good jokes and funny characters, but suddenly they threw in a terrible lovestory, 'be-yourself-and-everything-will-be-ok-bullshit' and some very crappy 'dramatic scenes' about friendship and relations.....aaargh
