No where near as awesome as the book, the movie still had some entertaining bits in it.

Its really a cute movie. I really like Farris and Hader's voice work. Oh and NPH FTW.

pretty good. didnt see it in 3d, not sure im really missing much. had some great gags and the characters are goofy. the way the characters act is hard to take in, but so is the concept of a machine that makes food fall out of the sky, so whatever, enjoy it and stop nit picking every movie just because you can.

ARGH THIS MOVIE SUCKS. IT MAKES ME HUNGRY AND MR.T WOULD DESTROY THAT STUPID FOOD SPACE THINGY WITH HIS FINGERNAIL. I LOVE YOU MISTER T.

Had no idea what this film was about, but it was good fun ... great visuals, a story, fun characters and some decent laughs for young and old. Like most films it gets a bit lost and the ending is messy ( in more ways than one ) but it sets out to be an enjoyable 90 minutes .. and it it achieves it admirably

I knew I'd probably enjoy this film, I was shocked that I kind of loved it. Its as predictable as any kids film these days, but its the little moments and offhand lines that, if you're paying attention, are really endearing.

Some really good jokes and really great voice acting.

Cliched, and occasionally obnoxious but well paced, allows a few real laughs and I did get a kick out of the parody sequence (the third act)

Like an amiably alfresco cousin to Cartoon Network's often splendid Dexter's Laboratory, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs makes the misunderstood mad scientist set-up established as far back as Frankenstein and Metropolis palatable to ADD-ridden youngsters without disengaging adult viewers. In its genius combination of admittedly formulaic animated storytelling, heartfelt digestible emotional disquietude and joyous humour, it easily succeeds, tasting significantly better than Up. Consume it.

I gave this film a miss in cinemas and generally had no intentions of ever seeing it but when a friend brought it over and sung it's praises I gave it a shot. I was in no way disappointed. I must've laughed out loud at least ten times which makes it a very successful comedy in my books. I highly recommend it to anyone who is still doubtful.

good concept and plot that doesn't begin quite good but end up very nice. Screenplay was okay. animation was pretty average. it has some nice moments. some touching lovely moments and that food disaster was awsome. it is funny but not very silly. voiceovers weren't that great. it is funny, clever, entertaining family animated movie which isn't great but you will have a good time.
