Sissy Spacek is phenomenal and Tommy Lee Jones gives possibly his best performance here. The movie's heart and soul lies in the chemistry between these two performers.

I love Loretta Lynn & Sissy Spaceck does an excellent job bringing her story to life & as usual Tommy Lee Jones is superb ...but even if you're not into country music an excellent story to watch

Spacek and Jones dig deep and deliver acting gold. Highly recommended.

Very good writing and performances, but started to lose my interest in the second half of the movie. Still, a great movie overall.

Doesn't much deviate from the boilerplate music biopic, but at least the execution is without major flaws and the performances are really very good. It also generally avoids having scenes that wallow in self pity or feel overly dramatic, so it's a fun experience.

It doesn't do much to break the mold of the typical biopic - rags to riches to struggles (infidelity, death, though no drugs here) and back again - so it relies on its performances. Fortunately, they're uniformly excellent, with both Spacek and Jones offering convincing embodiments of naive and soulful country hicks. If you can dig on country music and rural settings (I enjoy both), I see no reason you couldn't appreciate this.

Not gonna lie...my favorite movie of all time

The performance scenes were horribly annoying. I just couldn't get past them. If old country music is your thing, you may enjoy this, but I really did not.

An excellent biopic - you really feel empathy for Lynn, and (I know this is illogical), you feel like you've known her all your life. The acting is superb.

Not my style but not horrible. Too overdone but a good watch if you want to know what backwoods south is like.

Spacek's subtle, powerful performance is a tour de force that elevates the film overall, which also benefits from the outstanding technical elements, especially the cinematography.
