Summary: Kumaran (Mohanlal) runs the college canteen in Mahatma College & has his hand in everything from the running of the college to the protection of the students. Sethunathan (Siddique), Education Minister, tries various tricks to acquire the college, but Kumaran foils them all. Finally, Sethunathan traps Kumaran in the form of a planned bus accident of the college tour bus Kumaran was driving, causing the death of many students, & landing the blame on Kumaran.
