Well-choreographed, mostly exciting Hong Kong action flick, with a typically cool, phlegmatic main character. However, his suicidal approach loses its charm and excitement after the first 20-30 minutes, and the eventual showdown against his former friends just seemed like the filmmakers taking the easiest, most obvious path to a conclusion. Even so, the ensuing battle was plenty fun.
