A classic Columbo--Falk and Pleasence have a very interesting relationship in this one and it's great to watch them play off each other. The only weak point is the plot is pretty illogical and convoluted, even for a Columbo episode. Still, a lot of fun to watch.

The interplay between Donald Pleasence as the murderer/wine owner and Peter Falk as Columbo is incredible to watch, and possibly the high-point of all the films. The wine owner starts out despising Columbo, but gradually grows to like him, as the bumbling detective becomes a greater expert on spirits. This is all capped off with a memorable final dinner where the investigator shows off his new-found skill in wine, and the murderer resigns to his inevitable fate. A damn good film.

One of my favorite ones. Donald Pleasence is an amazing actor to say the least, and the text is great.
