Definitely one of the weaker Columbos; standard, cliched pot-boiler mystery, with an obvious culprit and clear evidence. No real surprises or thrills in the investigation, or the explanation of the crime. Peter Falk is funny as always, and there's nothing horribly wrong about the movie, but there's nothing particularly good, either. Watchable.
