The best thing about this Columbo is obviously Rod Steiger as an Italian mob boss. The acting legend eats the role up and makes you wish you could see a proper mafia movie with him in that role. Seems a bit wasteful in this Columbo movie though, which has a promising premise but suffers from quick fix syndrome.
