Dark, exciting, well-paced Columbo. One of the best of the series.

Top notch Columbo! Hands down the best in the first season. Kingston (expertly played by Ross Martin) is more a criminal mastermind than you'd ever expect from an art critic, and Columbo's ruses to expose him are diabolical... it's a battle of giants.

An above-average Columbo, and finally some fight put up by the perpetrator in the end, rather than simply giving in as usual. Ross Martin played the murderer quite well.
