This is about the best documentary you can find about Macroeconomics. This was mandatory watching in Business School

One of the best documentaries I've ever seen. I'm surprised more people on this site haven't seen it yet. As an economist with a keen interest in economic history and history of economics, I thoroughly enjoyed it. However the narrative is quite accessible to beginners and the producers do an excellent job of keeping it interesting (often a difficult task for boring old econ folk!)

Comes in three segments, 2 hours each. As an undergraduate studying economics, this was fantastic. Does a good job of explaining quite a few concepts and events if you're willing to pay attention. It would probably help to have someone with economics experience to expand on some parts though.
