I liked this film, the more outrageous moments weren't signposted or treated a major showpiece of the film, they just happened, and although the kid was annoying, what kid isn't ? The evil landlords were just transparent cartoon characters but they did their job. Does Rainey the German Shepherd live up to the title of Cool Dog? Yes. Easily. Without question, he is the coolest dog.
