Very well-done film. The editing and sound design are state of the art.

Intricate and clever elaboration if not indeed deconstruction of the opposition between original and copy, operating not only at the narrative level but at the level of artistic production.

It's visually pretty impressive, and the editing and sound do the job nicely, but ultimately it doesn't really command the attention the way you might hope.

very impressive short movie

Perfection, at least it seemed that way the first time I watched it. The plot, the timing, the acting, and the mastery of the technique are all exquisite. And the thousands of hours of laborious paper manipulation put in to obtain this unique but non-essential effect are a curious and bewitching example of the power art holds over its creator. Luckily it was all worth it for this singular, spectacular opus.

Good idea and even better realization of it. Also it left me looking for that string soundtrack.

Recursive, circular and selfcontained movies almost always hit the spot for me. This is no exception. Impressive stuff from mr. Silberschneider as the main character as well.
