Made for TV and it shows. Somewhat disappointing because it's Jesus Franco directing Christopher Lee as Dracula, Klaus Kinksi as Renfield and Herbert Lom as Van Helsing. How could you lose? Well it's played out very unimaginatively with frustratingly lifeless performances. Can't win 'em all I guess.

Boring and unremarkable version, poorly made, with a dry as dust script. It's faithful and doesn't contain any gaping holes, but not even Christopher Lee or Klaus Kinski can drag much entertainment out of this mostly lifeless hunk of a picture.

Jesus Franco makes movies so fast and so cheap that he just can't be bothered with quality. Even with Christopher Lee as Dracula and Klaus Kinski as Renfield, this embarrassment is no exception. Risibly inept even from a technical standpoint
