Was wishing that this would end midway through The Hitchhiker. Old Chief Wooden Head was too much setup with too little payoff. The Hitchhiker was a five-minute gag extended for a half hour. The Raft was fun, but I'm a sucker for aquatic-based horror. The wraparound story wasn't very interesting. If nothing else, I will say that Stephen King's cameo was pretty funny.

Not as good as the first, but WAY better than the third.

I realize I'm in the minority here, but I actually liked Creepshow 2 more than the original. Maybe it's due to the fact that I saw them on VHS over the summer during my teenage years, but the stories here were more compelling to me at the time, and I remember them more fondly than those in the original.

The wooden native american story is stupid and unscary. The Hitchhiker story is stupid and unscary. The Blob one is actually fairly well done and almost makes up for the others. That should've been made into full-length feature.

While it lacks _Creepshow_'s freshness, _2_ is a suitably sick crowd-pleaser in its own right.

Creepshow 2, even without the star power of the first, manages to hold true to the 50s style horror comic. Some nice stories where the bad guys win and the witty follow up by the narrator. Often times people remember stories from this movie more then the first. Creepshow 2 is definetly worth watching if ou are in to the 80s style horror movie.

This one has three stories...the first one about the indian chief getting revenge is ok....the second one the crate I loved it..great little chiller....the third one classic..the hitchhiker....loved it...not as good as it could have been but could have been worst

Far too many monologues!

Two glaring flaws going against it. Most of the actors suck (especially compared with the first one) & terrible, animated sequences in-between stories.

Wooden Indian: predicatably lame with a good performance from George Kennedy. The Raft: the best segment of the bunch brought down a notch by 80s hair and man speedos. The Hitchhiker: ripoff of a Twilight Zone made unbearably awful by bad script and editing and ultimately played for laughs (I think).

The blob thing always creeped me out as a kid.

pretty weak, but watchable

It has one worthwhile story (the oil monster in the lake that looks like a bunch of trashbags,) the rest is a bore. It doesn't compare to the first Creepshow.

I remember "The Raft" scaring me worse than anything when I was a kid. Watching it now, I'm able to laugh at it. The three stories in Creepshow 2 aren't horror masterpieces by any stretch of the imagination, but they succeed in entertaining. While not as campy and classic as the original Creepshow, Creepshow 2 still deserves respect.

Romero's enthusiasm and talent are dearly missed. Still, it's quite enjoyable.
