Not a good movie, but I've always had a soft spot for the Critters franchise. Part 3 is most notable as an early DiCaprio movie. Fairly watchable if taken with a good dose of Captain Morgan.

I kinda liked the end credit bit, because it was bizarre enough to be memorable, and because it signalled the end of this absolute nightmare. You know the movie is headed nowhere fast, when it spends five minutes with a montage of 'greatest hits' from Critters and Critters 2... THERE ARE NO GREATEST HITS FROM THOSE TWO MOVIES!!!

GENERAL HEALTH WARNING: DO NOT WATCH ALL FOUR CRITTERS MOVIES BACK TO BACK - At this point it seems they have just about given up on the concept and are only making Critters movies because the freaking handpuppets are lying around anyway... The end credit "cliffhanger" sequence is especially malicious, essentially made to squeeze any will to live out the poor bastards still watching...

Unfortunatly there is nothing new in the second sequel to the low budget 80's horror flick critters. The approach is more like the first, where a family gets attacked by the critters ( as in opposed to part two, where an entire town gets over run), so thats nothing new. The jokes are recycled, the gore is almost gone, and the acting/story at parts is laughable. Watch for a young DiCaprio! Earning his stripes in Hollywood

Well, the stars are mainly for the Critters themselves in this one as they are funny and the limitations of the puppets aren't TOO obvious. More of an attempt to individualise the crites is made, with one burning its face with bleach and another drinking washing up liquid, little theft from the Gremlins franchise here.
