Competent but tame kid-horror, not unlike a souped-up episode of Goosebumps or Are You Afraid Of The Dark?. If this did garner an abnormal amount of complaints upon airing, it's more a testament to the sensibility of the audience than the content of the film. It's far more likely whoever unearthed it a decade later created their own sort of legend surrounding it: not just a forgotten bit of pre-9/11 nostalgia that fell through the cracks but a verboten broadcast The Man tried to hush up.

Much better than current Nickelodeon fare. Pretty scary for a kid's network.
