Summary: Five friends return from a cocktail party to a cottage deep inside the English woods of the Peak District. Having brushed off the notion of urban legends as rubbish, never occurring in reality, our protagonist's slowly find themselves weaving through their very own horror story (imdb)
The gimmick is that the whole movie is filmed in one shot, like Russian Ark. Unlike Russian Ark, there's no artistic excuse for it. It's only done to cover up the film's outrageously hackneyed premise, utterly uninspired writing, shoestring production, laughable acting and torturous soundtrack. It doesn't work.
Average. The main plot device here is that the entire film is one long unedited cut. Its a pretty impressive technical feat but despite decent performances and even some T&A thrown in for good measure, the novelty wears off around the halfway mark due to lack of content and the singular setting. Other than the novel production gimmick, not much else to Recommend here.
