One sleezy bitch this movie was, I must say. Trash! The story sucked, the CG sucked and characters. Phew! It entertained most of the time, but in the latter part it started to drag. Really. Can't beat the unbeatable Charlie's Angels AD 2000.

DOA conists of the following things : bad actors , very bad plot and some chicks fighting. Those action scene's where good enough , and what you expect from a movie wich is based on a video game.

If you're intrigued by the depth of plot and multidimensional characters in your aquarium screensaver, you'll probably be engrossed by this. And by the way, two people to write this, REALLY?

DOA: Dead or Alive is trashy, but it's still kind of enjoyable. It's definitely not a good film, or one that you will probably want to readily admit to watching, but it's fun. The fight scenes are actually quite entertaining, and since they take up the majority of the film's runtime, you're entertained for most of the time. The CGI is poor, the characters are shallow and inconsistent, and the plot is ridiculous, but since the fighting was well-done, I didn't hate the experience.

Not nearly as sexy as it could have been and the action wasn't amazing, but there was a somewhat descent plot.

This movie has a ridiculous plot and is full of cliches. Eric Roberts plays a very weak villain. I advise to avoid this one.

Not the best acting or story plot, but for some reason the hot girls and fighting made it seem fun to watch.

Terrible and not enough to make it funny.

If you like hot chicks and/or cool fight scenes and can enjoy a movie for just those elements. This is the movie for you! I wouldn't give this an Oscar, but if I wanted to see some hot chicks and cool fight scenes I'd watch this movie again. What more can you ask of a movie?

If you're in it for the story, don't watch it. If you like fights and pretty ladies fighting, definitely try this one. The movie is about a couple of top fighters in the world, fighting a tournament on an island. Of course there is an evil plot in the background that the fighters slowly find out...

Utter Shock at the production values here. There seems to have been some actual thought put into the fight choreography, if not the acting or script. It's pretty much just a showcase for hot, scantily-clad girls to paw at each other, but it's entertaining and fun, so it gets a pass...

The story is stupid, the acting is bad and the characters are shallower then.... something shallow. So why don't I give it a zero? I'll tell you why: Holly Valance, Sarah Carter and Natassia Malthe in bikinis. That's why.

When you know what you are going to see, then this can offer pure actions goodness. Anyone who has played the DOA games (even the Vollyball one counts) knows right away what this is going to be like, others should should just expect a B-Action Movie with hot chicks.

One of the best adaptations I've seen. Not so much a good movie, but a pretty damn faithful adaptation, which is what I'm rating it for.

DOA was like a good porn film and I'm not only refering to the half-naked babes wrestling each other. There was a corny plot, simple enough not to get in the way of what the wievers relly want: the satisfaction from the endles flow of kick-punch-jump. DOA is honestly just the kind of movie you expect it to be. BUT. The chick with the purple hair did go over the top for me!

Surprisingly good choreography, it's fun to watch if you don't expect more than a movie with life bars.
