What seemed like a promising idea for a movie ended up being just another movie about guns and drugs and money. The narration by Ice Cube ends up being out of place and awkward, and the film tries WAY too hard to get a bigger meaning across, and ends up being incredibly predictable. Most of the dialogue belongs in an after-school special, and the added graphic effects are better left with the rest of student film cliches.
