I will say I basically enjoyed this movie. The animation is cool and I like that an adaption was attempted. I think we might have to accept the fact that the Divine Comedy is too large and complex to ever be adapted properly. The original itself was a life's-work kind of deal and any adaptation would have to be a pretty big piece of work as well. Any partial adaptation could probably not be considered an adaptation at all.

This was the best and most brutal anime i´ve watched since "Ninja Scroll". Stunning style! Can´t wait until the launch of the video game.
