A lyrical and well-crafted fantasy following the lives of a series of women who come into contact with a dress which seems to have a will of its own. Beautiful photography and camera work are the main attractions here, but the series of vignettes, some of which are little moral fables and others of which are simply experiments in style, are never boring. A fantastic representative for Dutch cinema and independent film-making.
