Thriller? If youre allergic to being scared, this movie is a must watch. If youre particularly frightened of bathing, this movie may have some chilling moments. The most troubling scene was an extreme close up of Brittany Murphy putting on lipstick. As she puckered her massive mouth mater
A crossover between When a Stranger Calls and The Shining (I don't intend to compare both), Deadline, one of Brittany Murphy's last films, is depressingly bad: it is totally reverent to the formula, and incapable of creating a decent atmosphere. Brittany seems curiously disattached from her character, almost sleepy.
Well if you are only as good as your last film, then it's a little sad for Brittany Murphy's to have been this one. Don't get me wrong, Murphy as always put in a good performance, but the film itself was excruciatingly slow at times and found myself getting lost through boredom. It is a very cliche ghost film and whilst the ending is supposed to be left as some kind of twist, it fell a bit flat and left you wondering whether you got the ending right or not!
A run-of-the-mill scary movie. It follows the rules of the book, lonely girl in an old house, a ghost in the mirror, scary noises during night, etc.. Nothing special
