So-so outing from the Man. Seems slow and rushed at the same time, but has some great performances and a delighfully out-of-the-blue wtf-just-happened ending.

Riki Takeuchi is perfectly cast as a seething beast of rage in this pulpy yakuza thriller. The music, all taken from a 70's psychedelic rock album (Satori by The Flower Traveling Band), is surprisingly fitting and excellent.
