I couldn't believe how ridiculous this movie was, I thought I was dreaming. Who the hell thought this was a good idea? It needs to be seen to be believed.

Yeah, it's a bad movie for a lot of reasons, but it's an underrated classic in the "80's so-bad-it's-good action" genre. Face it: this should be mentioned right alongside (probably in better terms) Commando and Predator.

On a visceral level this is more enjoyable than either 1 or 2. By now there's no sense pretending that deadly crime waves don't follow Paul Kersey around, and that anyone he befriends is destined to be randomly raped and/or killed as a pretext for his vigilante vengeance. But Death Wish 3 further dispenses with any semblance of good measure, and by the time Bronson almost single-handedly eradicates a gang of dozens, the city lies half in ruins with everyone dead but Martin Balsam and some cop.

Top badass moment? Well basically anything Paul Kersey did, but as an example I'll pick his dealing with car thieves by blowing them away with his really big gun. Mobilising a whole community of old and frightened people to take direct action is always badass. 0 cats and 0 decapitations.

Is this a good movie? Well, no, not exactly. But it's stuffed to the gills with absurdly over-the-top action and it's very very funny. Any time a person is thrown out of a window and they turn into a dummy, it's hard not to laugh. It's completely ridiculous, but sometimes you just want to watch Charles Bronson go on a murderous rampage and this movie understands that there's nothing wrong with that at all.

Total, miserable, execrable shit. Paul Kersey, who was supposed to be an architect with no military record, now has all kinds of combat skills that are only explained by the fact that he is Charles Bronson

It's a terrible movie: poor acting, awful dialogue, over the top violence, offensive almost fascist political sentiments. But it is a lot of fun to watch as a "so bad it's hilarious" movie.

This is the only Death wish that I remember but it features the Wildey Wolf handgun and some of the most ridiculous urban guerilla style combat ever captured on film. This is an 80's movie trying to mimic 60-70's grindhouse but not quite succeeding. Charles Bronson is wooden in all the death wish movies but he seems a bit more lively than usual here. Watch it only if you enjoy trashy cinema.

Absolutely awful, no doubt. However, the violence reaches amazing heights of absurdity and sleaze (what do you expect from a Michael Winner film?). Particularly a fan of a scene where Bronson and his cop friend go on what appears to be a tour of a police academy training course, walking around a vacant town and shooting at hiding criminals that pop out from behind trash cans, buildings, etc.

What was it about 1985 that produced the all-time epic "one man army" action movies? (Commando, Rambo 2, Invasion U.S.A. and Death Wish 3) This one is just a brutal, bloody piece of anarchy and I love it!

It's Charles "Man-God" Bronson killing hundreds of people for two hours, what's not to love? Poorly made, but easily the best action movie of the '80s, along with Commando.
