Summary: Donna and Joel Gregory are staying at the estate of Lorna Love while researching a book about the long dead Hollywood goddess. Joel, who's father had a passionate affair with Lorna, becomes obsessed with her. His wife attempts to break the spell which threatens their marriage and their very lives. (imdb)

Nostalgia-laced TV film. Fairly sumptuous-looking and with a couple of fairly inspired moments (like faded star Lamour doing a TV coffee commercial) but mostly just run-of-the-TV-mill stuff. The sight of a virile Wagner being fondled in bed by a disfigured old lady must be some sort of television first, though.
