'Deepasthambham Mahascharyam' is a rehash of the oft-used Malayalam cinema theme of the struggling hero who is fighting his evil uncle to marry his daughter. Coupled with even more platitudes like a love triangle brought about by a city girl who loves the hero, and a bunch of hero's cohorts to dish out lame jokes every now and then, 'Deepasthambham Mahascharyam' brings nothing new to the table.
