Summary: Antonio has always had problems with his incisors: they are huge, impossible to hide and embarrassing. It takes a woman, Mara – who he left his wife and children for – to crack both incisors with a glass ashtray during a fight brought about by jealousy: Antonio is convinced she's having an affair with hers dentist! Antonio’s tongue instinctively touches and investigates his raw and bleeding gum and when his saliva mixes with the blood, he remembers his childhood.
