I watched a restored version at the Festival de Brasília, and I left the theater thinking that maybe Werner Herzog saw this before shooting Aguirre, two years later. Cabeças has got a dreamy narrative, a beautiful cinematography and thoughtful observations on capitalism and colonialism.
