Awful, surreal, wonderful mess.

Worth it just to see Danny Trejo, playing a Native American, give a foot massage to Jean-Claude Van Damme, playing an American. This movie is ten kinds of fucked.

While I was watching this film, I thought it's the first acceptable Van Damme story. The beginning was nice and they tried to build a character out of him. As soon as the story started there was one actor above all: Bill Erwin. And that's it. The character design was forgotten, action and shooting started and the majority of the movie was the common Van Damme baloney. All points for Bill Erwin and a short clips of possibility to have a decent story.

As JCVD movies go this one I found was watchable.

A silly Van Damme action romp that passes the time, and has a couple of amusing scenes. Its main problem is the lack of humor for such an absurd premise, and the lack of imagination in the fight scenes.

It's pretty awful. In fact it's so awful that it's sad when you realize it is directed by the Oscar winning director of Rocky. It does have it's fair share of Van Damme roundhouse-solving-everything kicks, as well as perfectly toned Van Damme butt. As a movie it's pretty terrible but admittedly it is the "so bad it's good type" making it ideal to watch with your buddies and make fun of.

Terrible in every way, nonsensical plot, bizarre obsession with sex and horrible accents (of which JCVD's was far from the worst), even the action scenes were spread pretty thin. I did have a good time making fun of it though.

Entertaining action movie nothing more, JVCD bones two ladies at once.
