Summary: Two struggling young men, Sivashankaran (Mohanlal), a medical representative & Abu (Murali), a taxi driver, overhears a discussion about a smuggling deal, which they inform the customs, after which the deal is busted & 1 crore worth of gold is confiscated. Sivashankaran & Abu get 20 lakh rupees as a reward, but when the smuggling gang, led by Xavier Jacob (Nasser), learns about Sivashankaran, he is forced to go on the run with the money, out of fear for his life.
