Summary: Newly weds Shiva's (Rishi Kapoor) & Jeeva's (Jayapradha) joys are short-lived when Shiva is killed by Yashpal Singh (Raza Murad), in revenge for Jeeva spurning his overtures. In return, a pregnant Jeeva kills Yashpal & goes to jail where she gives birth to a son. Baying for Jeeva's blood outside was Krupal Singh (Danny Denzongpa), Yashpal's brother, & his cohorts, while the jailor of Jeeva's prison, Kapil Dev Singh (Mammootty), comes to Jeeva's aid.
