Summary: Dr. Savithri (Sumalatha) is forced to save the life of the person she hated the most - death row convict Aravindan (Mammootty), who had killed her father Madhava Menon (Karamana Janardanan Nair), after he escapes from jail & is subsequently shot by the cops. After saving Aravindan's life, Savithri gets a chance to listen to the circumstances regarding the murder from nurse Tresa (Parvathi), which puts things in a different light for her & she starts thinking about letting Aravindan escape again.
