As usual, Caine is masterful and Martin unbearable. The latter was almost overpowering, but the climax (and a few other moments) save this from being truly abysmal.

Two more than Kyle. It desperately needs a sequel.

A pretty easy watch, with an excellent and somewhat surprising twist at the end. Both Caine and Martin were good, although Martin, in typical fashion someone is a bit, umm, exaggerated in his manner at times. But I guess that's an idiosyncrasy that you either love or hate about the guy. It's a fun watch, with some humour, and it doesnt take itself too seriously.

It's a classic comedy with a few laugh out loud moments courtesy of Mr. Martin and some great acting by Mr. Caine. pretty decent movie

Just a great 80's comedy with Steve Martin pretty much as his peak. Well worth a watch.

Seriously, does Michael Caine just pick movies out of a hat? And has Steve Martin gotten less funny over the years? This movie was terrible!

The surprising plot twists that pop up throughout the movie make it worth watching.

Saw the twist coming but fun nonetheless. Entertaining film and that's all it was trying to be.

so martin and caine team up in a con man comedy, sounds like a good idea, but turns out to be less than one would expect. it's got a couple good chuckles in it, although nothing to really raise the brow. it's not great, but not a single moment is boring and keeps the attention well enough for a once over.
