Summary: When a New York City tunnel digger (Costas Mandylor) discovers molten lava flowing beneath the streets, he teams with his geologist ex-spouse (Alexandra Paul) to convince skeptical officials that disaster is imminent. As it turns out, the secret geothermal experiments of a misguided scientist (Michael Ironside) have stirred up volcanic activity, causing the strange phenomenon.
